A Passion for Handmade

The products you see in my shop, was inspired from my own needs. A desire to have the right item for the job. I like a simple design, that is also highly functional. I incorporated my love of leather with many different fabrics such as waxed canvas, and timeless designs that will only get better with age.

I am an Artisan, the creator, and the designer of Fouts Leather Goods. I am blessed because every single day I get up, I get to make something with my hands. "There is nothing like the smell of leather and coffee in the morning".

I was introduced to Leather Working at the age of 12 while attending Vacation Bible School in the Summer of 1982. I learned several different crafts that summer which shaped my life into the Artisan I am today. My primary business today is Screen Printing & Embroidery which I was also introduced to that very summer. 

While recently working on a project for a customer that wanted to incorporate leather into her design, my brain was flooded with those fond memories of the summer of ’82 where I made my first wallet and my first pair of moccasins.

I had so much fun working on that project that I knew I wanted to continue working with leather, hence Fouts Leather was born.
